About CPM Safety
Starting his career in a professional RIBA Architectural practice serving 7 years. Paul Bray qualified as an Architectural Technician working on projects for University of Plymouth, local authorities and many private clients, before moving into the contracting side of construction.
Paul spent 5 years working for a major construction company in Plymouth managing contracts ranging from planned maintenance to new build doctors' surgery and extensions to education establishments.
From there he worked as a Quantity Surveyor for a large local scaffolding contractor before moving into the contracts management side of the business.
Since then Paul has run his own successful scaffolding business working on many projects in Plymouth and the surrounding areas, and managing projects such as:

- Redecoration of Smeaton's tower for the 2012 Olympics
- We managed the scaffolding and access for the refurbishment of of Plymouth Pannier Market which involved a special design scaffold internally and externally which allowed the continuing operation of the day to day running of the market stalls.
- Long standing contracts included local authorities, various housing associations, national maintenance contractors.
- We also work within sensitive environments such as schools and defence sites.
Paul's qualifications include:
- ONC/HNC Construction studies
- NEBSOH construction certificate
- CITB SMSTS
- NASC Advanced scaffold inspection
- NRSWA supervisor
- 30 years + experience in construction industry
- Technical Member of IOSH
- CITB Site safety plus temporary works co-ordinator
- Level 6 in applied health and safety
- Face fit testing
